I'm watching Fire for the 100th time and just noticed something. Phoebe was speaking normal for the first half of the episode but by 24:25 mark, the scene with her and Mulder walking with their umbrellas, she was speaking with a heavy lisp. Did she have an allergic reaction and tongue swell? You see she was trying hard to pronounce her words. Then she was back to speaking normal for the rest of the episode.
