Natgen rant

I’m not sure if anyone else is as frustrated about this as I am but I’ve just about had it….. Since the office in TJ opened, it has been a constant issue with having to go back behind those reps and clean up after them because they are constantly taking unacceptable proof, processing endorsements and cancellations incorrectly, making exceptions that CAN NOT be made due to them violating guidelines, etc. It honestly feels like they are living in a completely different world than stateside. They have had 2 large retraining sessions in the last year and nothing has gotten any better. Do state side reps have issues and make mistakes? Absolutely! Myself included; however, it has been made abundantly apparent that stateside is held to a significantly higher standard than TJ. It’s freaking EXHAUSTING.

Check in

Just a check in, on a scale of 1-10 (1 being absolute dog crap and 10 being shooting rainbows out of your butt) how is your mental health? Since the company doesn’t care and this subreddit has proven that a lot of people care about one another, I feel like we need a check in.

Something I will never understand

Rant: something I will never understand is why supervisors always say “if you’re having an issue, you need to immediately contact IT” but when you call IT and are actually getting help; they complain and want updates every 4 seconds while also making you feel like you’re in court having to plead your case to a judge on why you had to call IT.

Allstate blue label migration

Does anyone else think that this is making things significantly worse operational wise? It seems like everything is running a lot worse than before…..

Not verifying license info?

Question for agents- Do you guys just go off of license info that pulls from vendor reports or do you actually ask the insured for their license number? The reason for asking is due to the amount of MVR mismatch errors, requests for correct license information, etc. that are having to be corrected and we are getting pushback because most of the time, correcting the license info causes an increase but license information was not verified prior to binding.

Anyone else?

How is everyone doing with this mercury retrograde? Is it just me or does anyone else want to cry while also putting their head through a wall? Everyone is soooooooooo spicy, rude and argumentative for no reason.

Just a PSA

Hello fellow insurance for Allstate and Natgen. I just wanted to make a PSA to any agents out there- when you contact customer service because there is an issue with a policy due to a system issue, PLEASE keep in mind that this is NOT the reps fault and don’t take your anger out on them. Reps are doing everything that we can and trust that we are just as frustrated as you are. There have been numerous system issues over the last 2 weeks and we have received little to no updates from our “developers” who are in charge of resolving the issues so we are left trying to make the best decision that’s available and or just provide you with what we know (which is basically nothing). We are on the same team

Can anyone explain the insane amount of system issues???

Are there any IT humans, developers, etc. that can explain why there are so many system issues almost on a weekly basis? This week, there was a network outage which seems still not be resolved. At this point it’s ridiculous and unacceptable and customer service is getting all of the backlash.
