Hysterectomy confirmed it all!

After suffering for so long, I finally had a hysterectomy last week. My pathology came back and I had an enlarged bulky uterus, fibroids, polyps and Disordered proliferative endometrium.

I feel so many emotions about it, I’m feeling relieved it was really a thing and I wasn’t going crazy. I feel grief for all the losses and infertility I experienced and sad because it’s all so final.

I really can’t wait to never have a period again and feel fully recovered!!

Travelling with 9 year old

Hi there! Looking to travel to Fiji in June for the first time with our 9 year old. Instead of staying in one resort for 10 days I was thinking about mixing it up - maybe 5 at castaway and then 5 at Sofitel? Any other recs?!

Awaiting discharge and biopsy nerves

I had a total hysterectomy on Monday and left the hospital without my discharge letters on Tuesday night. I have major anxiety about wanting to know what they saw / found - what happened during surgery. How long did it take to get pathology or biopsy results for you all? I’m in Aus for context!
