[Online][5E 2024][Weekly][Mondays 7PM Central Standard Time][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Beginner Friendly] Looking for 5 Players for Ravenloft: The Domains of Dread (Level 1-15 Horror Campaign)

"Beyond the Mists lie a land where every nightmare has a kingdom..."

One foggy evening, your character disappears. Whether you were traveling a lonely road, sleeping in an inn, or simply walking home, the mists found you. When they clear, everything familiar is gone. The sun seems dim, the villages whisper superstitions, and every smiling face a secret. Welcome to Ravenloft.

This campaign is a long-term anthology-style adventure that will take the party across numerous Domains of Dread, each inspired by a different style of horror. Every domain tells its own story, introduces its own memorable cast of allies and villains, and is ruled by a terrifying Dark Lord trapped within their own eternal curse.

You'll travel through poisoned noble courts where betrayal is more dangerous than any sword, haunted coastlines where the dead refuse to rest, isolated villages consumed by superstition, cities built upon lies, kingdoms besieged by endless war, and many more.

This campaign is centered around:

- Sandbox elements

- Horror of all types

- Emphasis on Roleplay

- Exploration of the Domains of Dread

- Surviving against Supernatural Horrors

- Collaborative storytelling between the party

Combat is certainly part of the campaign, but not every problem can be solved by drawing a weapon. In Ravenloft, knowledge, caution, and clever thinking often matter just as much as strength.

Hello everyone, my name is Darnell, and as a DM I enjoy creating story-driven campaigns filled with memorable NPCs, meaningful choices, a good mystery, and cinematic encounters. I am looking for 5 players to brave the mists and enter the horrifying lands of Ravenloft.

If exploring haunted manors, unraveling deadly conspiracies, bargaining with monsters, and struggling to escape the Domains of Dread sounds like your kind of adventure, then fill out the attached google form and i'll get back to you as soon as possible!

[Online][5E 2014][Weekly][Wednesdays, 7 P.M Central Standard Time][Sandbox][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Beginner Friendly] Looking for 4-5 Players to Escape A Cult, Uncover a Conspiracy, and Stop an Eldritch Apocalypse (Levels 1-12)

Thank you everyone for applying, I wasn't expecting the sheer amount of attention this post would get. I'm going to reach out to everyone soon!

"You don't remember how you got here".

You awaken in a cold stone cellar, chained beside several strangers. Hooded figures surround you as one carriers an ancient clay vase into the room. They only speak a few words. "A new test". A pale maggot is removed from the vase and forced beneath your skin. The agony is unbearable, then... darkness.

You awaken to the sound of battle. The building is under attack by Flaming Fist soldiers. Most of the prisoners around you are dead. The maggot is gone, leaving behind only a strange wound, and your shackles are loose enough to break free. Escape, survive, and find out what was done to you.

Hello everyone, my friends call me Cozier, and my campaign, The Hungering Three, is a long term sandbox campaign set along the Sword Coast surrounding Baldur's Gate. The campaign blends dark fantasy, mystery, political intrigue, exploration, and cosmic horror into a player-driven adventure.

Rather than following a single linear storyline, you'll decide where to investigate, which allies to trust, and how to confront an expanding cult whose influence reaches far beyond what first appears. As the campaign progresses, you'll explore corrupted forests, ancient ruins, forgotten caverns beneath the Sword Coast, the Feywild, and eventually the streets of Baldur's Gate itself as a hidden conspiracy threatens to reshape Faerun.

Campaign Features

  • Sandbox-style campaign with multiple paths and player freedom
  • Levels 1 through 12
  • A strong emphasis on roleplay, investigation, and exploration
  • Body horror, eldritch horror, and dark fantasy themes balanced with moments of humor and lighter roleplay
  • Numerous side quests, optional encounters, hidden superbosses, and legendary item quests.

Looking For Players Who...

  • Enjoy roleplaying and developing their characters
  • Like investigating mysteries
  • Enjoy teamwork and collaborative storytelling
  • Appreciate Darker themes without turning the game into constant misery

Ni extensive Forgotten Realms knowledge is required, newcomers and DND beginners are absolutely welcome. If this sounds like the kind of campaign you'd enjoy, please fill out the application form below. I look forward to hearing from you!

[Online][5e 2014][Weekly][Saturdays, 7.PM CST][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Homebrew Setting] Looking for 4-5 Players for Arcanum: A Level 1-15 Campaign of Crime, Revolution, and Cosmic Horror

"It only takes one misstep to fall down the stairs of Pinkerton"

Welcome to Arcanum, the greatest city in the known world, a city divided. High above the clouds floats Celestia, a shining paradise of wealth, influence, and power, governed by the mysterious High Council. Far below sprawls Pinkerton, a vast labyrinth of factories, slums, criminal syndicates, cults, and desperate people struggling to survive another day.

You have been hired by High Councilor Axum Goldteeth for a secret mission. His daughter, Sophie Goldteeth, has disappeared within the criminal underbelly of Pinkerton. Intelligence suggests she has been taken by a powerful syndicate known as The Clenched Fist. Your task is simple: Enter Pinkerton, infiltrate The Clenched Fist, find Sophie, and bring her home. Simple, at least that's what you've been told.

About the setting: Arcanum is a heavily homebrewed setting that uses the 2014 5e DND ruleset, and it features: A massive cosmopolitan metropolis, unique lore surrounding magic, Magitech and industrial technology, political conflict between social classes, Aberrations, Elementals, Giants, and a living world that changes based on player actions. This is a setting where a Goblin revolutionary, an Efreeti noble, a Giant diplomat, and a mad Human scientist can all exist in the same story.

Attached to this post is a simple lore document for those that are interested in learning more of the setting, and finally a google form for those who are interested in joining as a player to fill out.

My name is Kestrel, and I hope to see you soon in the slums of Pinkerton!

[Online][5e 2014][Weekly][LGBTQ+ Friendly] [Fridays 7 P.M CST] Looking For 4-5 players For The Curse of Orcus Campaign - A Level 3-20 Apocalyptic Campaign

"The road to Neverwinter should be crowded. Instead, the fields sit abandoned. Farmhouses stand empty. Refugees travel south with haunted looks in their eyes. And above the horizon, visible from miles away, a pillar of radiant light pierces the heavens.

Three weeks ago, a star fell from the sky, and it struck the heart of Neverwinter. Now the city is under siege by the dead. People vanish in the night, and ancient crypts stir beneath the streets. Entire regions have gone silent, most notable being to settlements in the Anauroch Desert. Demons appear where no summoning was performed, and priests struggle to hear their Gods. And somewhere beneath Neverwinter's crater, something impossible has awakened.

You are not legendary heroes, not yet. You are adventurers arriving in a city on the brink of collapse, tasked with helping defend what remains. But as the mystery of the crater unfolds, you'll find yourselves drawn into a story involving fallen angels, ancient prophecies, Demon Lords, forgotten kingdoms, celestial wars, and the fate of the Forgotten Realms itself".

The Curse of Orcus is a weekly long-term campaign focused heavily on roleplay, exploration, mystery, and character development. While combat is always important, the campaign places equal emphasis on meaningful choices and uncovering the truth behind an ever escalating apocalypse.

The campaign contains themes of death, undeath, war, corruption, cosmic horror, and apocalypse. While there will be moments of humor and hope, the overall tone is serious and story-focused. When it comes to playable characters, i'm really open to any class, race, and subclass, as a happy player is a good player.

If you're interested, fill out the attached form and I will quickly get back to you. Newer players are welcome, and i'm always open to teaching. We will be playing using Roll20 with the 2014 ruleset, and we will use Discord for communication. I hope to have a simple session 0 for the campaign on June 12th at 7 P.M CST, and then truly start playing on June 19th. My name is Kestrel, and I have been DMing for roughly 3 and a half years. I hope to see you all in The Curse of Orcus!

[5E 2024] [Online] [Tuesdays] [Weekly at 6 P.M CST] [LGBTQ+ & Alt Friendly] [18+] New-ish DM looking for 4-5 players interested in joining expedition to the New World of Thindol

Edit: Thank you everyone for your interest in my campaign! We have already found 5 players, so apologies if I didn't get to you in time.

"Destruction brought on by the return of the Cult of the Dragon in the mainland spurred explorers to voyage to unknown lands to seek safety, and so 20 years ago the untamed continent of Thindol was discovered, it being named after Sir Thindol, an Elven fisherman from Neverwinter. Dry and covered in deserts and savannas, settlements began to pop up across the barren coastline, the most notable being the city of Thindar, built around an obelisk made of black rock. For a time peace was the norm of the new world, that was until settlers began to encounter the native Yuan-Ti of the continent. At first, peace was attempted, but after several failed attempts of brokering peace, war erupted between the Yuan-Ti and the settlers.

War has wrought blood across the new world, and there seems to be no sign of it stopping any time soon, with the emperor of the Yuan-Ti, Aten, refusing any stop to the war. Desperate to stop the war and quickly running out of manpower, the capital city of Thindar has sent out the call for aid, its mayor, Ryder Lionmane, personally travelling to the city of Waterdeep to recruit adventurers willing to travel to the new world.

You were lucky, or unlucky, enough to be recruited by Ryder, and his goal for you is simple: travel to the city of Thindar and help its inhabitants stop the Yuan-Ti from exterminating them. Time is running out, and within the shadows, forces greater than the Yuan-Ti stir, for the people of Thindar are unaware of the history of this forgotten continent and the evil hidden within it".

With the hook out there, hi! My name is Hayden, and I am attempting to run a long-running campaign for 4-5 players. My campaigns are very linear, but I will always encourage my players to find their own solutions to everything. My games are also very heavy in both roleplay and combat, with the story blending together with your own personal character backgrounds. The campaign's story is homebrew, but the monsters and mechanics you encounter are fully based on the 2024 rules of D&D.

I will explain further rules and questions in dms, but these are some important notes:

  1. This is a friendly table to those belonging to LGBTQ+

  2. This will be hosted weakly on Tuesdays

  3. I am more than welcome to DM for new players, as I have introduced several people to DND in the past.

For a brief idea on what to expect, you and your fellow party members have just entered the continent of Thindol via boat, and are now travelling through the desert in a caravan. Your goal is to initially reach the city of Thindar, which is considered the capital of the colonies within Thindol. This campaign will heavily feature the Yuan-Ti, Aberrations, planar travelling, and the unnatural Far Realm.

Should any of this sound interesting to you, please DM me either on Reddit or via my discord. I hope to get to know you, and please ask any question you have.

Discord Username: khsovoso

Cheers!

- Hayden
