Is This Normal for a $200 Full Grain Leather Belt?

Hi everyone,

I just bought this full grain leather belt for around $200, and I noticed there are several marks/scars on the leather, as shown in the pictures.

I’m wondering if this is just normal for genuine full grain leather since it’s a natural material - for example marks from the cow’s skin/neck area - or if it’s something I should be concerned about.

I also noticed the area around the holes already looks a bit worn/used. Could that realistically happen from the 5 times I’ve tried it on, or does it seem excessive for a brand new belt?

This is my first full grain leather belt, so I’m honestly not sure what’s considered normal at this price point. For a $200 belt, am I overthinking this, or would you also question the condition?
