What's a house feature that seemed unnecessary until you had it?
I'm nowhere near building a house yet, but I spend way too much time looking at floor plans and home tours. I've noticed there are a lot of features that sound like nice to have until someone who's actually lived with them says they'd never go without them again. like little design choices that made everyday life easier.
