Joined the PS4 club
Said goodbye to my beloved '24 PS2 LRSM and picked up my new Electron '26 PS4 Pilot LRDM about a week ago. Couldn't pass up the incentive before Polestar discontinues in America. Took a little getting used to using the infotainment panel for pretty much everything, but now that I'm more familiar with all the features and quirks, I'm definitely loving it, and just got the Gemini update on my drive home tonight.
I've been pleasantly surprised on the range, too. I drive mostly in Range mode, and just yesterday drove 173 miles mostly on the highway on only 49% charge, which would put it around 345 miles if I could have kept up that pace on a full charge (vs. the 280 miles it's rated).
Definitely worth the upgrade, and hoping if "conditions" are more favorable in a few years that Polestar will consider a return. I know my local Space is hoping for that.
