Windshield replacement impacts the front camera?
Just notice this mis-aligned image right after a windshield replacement.
But the camera behind the windshield has nothing to do with it, it’s the front camera’ job, any thoughts?

After pretty much a year of car problems (10th car in just over year, with two new orders that let me down), brought a 1 year old. Not driven much yet but definitely think I’ll need to be careful on London 20 roads…
I have used every single song identifier and quite literally nothing can find it.
The lease return process has been extremely painful. The instructions provided by the Polestar Space were not accepted by Polestar Financial Services, and we have been stuck in the process for several weeks after returning the car.
The inspector misidentified dirt as scratches and also failed to notice the cargo cover in the back seat. He quoted ~$300 for these items. The guy at Polestar Space told us this was ok and that they'd conduct another inspection after we returned the car. However later Polestar Financial Services told us that they only rely on the Openlane inspection.
From an Polestar Financial Services representative, “We are different companies. We handle financing, and they are the dealership. We signed the contract with you, not the dealership, so we do not communicate with them directly.”
They also don't seem to care about online complaints. We will probably give up and pay the full invoice, since we've already made almost 20 calls to different parties and it no longer feels worth the effort. However, if there is any effective channel, please let me know :-(. I realize most people may think their chances of having the same experience are low just as we did (though there are many posts sharing bad experiences) and will still choose to buy or lease a Polestar. Well, good luck.
I really like the P2, lots of positive reviews, great range, safe, reliable, AWD etc but I have a large dog and I don’t think she’d be happy in the boot area. So, since Volvo were synonymous for their voluminous estate cars not so long ago, why is that body style available?
In fact it seems to be a general trend, either SUV or hatchback saloon. BMW i4 is the same, hatchback, but no estate. There is an i5 estate/touring but it’s hugely expensive

Hey,
I'm about to buy a 2022 Polestar 2 with Pilot pack (it has ACC), 83.361km and a battery with 92% of his capacity.
The car is at 26 790€ and has 83.361km
What do you think ? Is it a great deal?
Do you think I can resell it in like 4-6 years ?
Dual motor, performance pack.
Out of nowhere, had a random Propulsion System Failure.
It first occurred after driving to a local shop when I tried to reverse out of a parking spot. It's in single pedal drive. When I pressed the pedal, it moved a little bit, maybe 5 feet, and then the motor(s) locked up and chugged about 3-4 times within a second or two. It was like the motor controller(s) lost position tracking or reset.
Then I got a fault code for "Propulsion System" failure and entered limp mode.
The shuddering seemed to happen at near-zero speed, when reversing or driving in forward. It did not seem to happen above 5mph.
When I got home I attempted to read with Orbit, but upon doing so, it cleared the fault codes and I didnt get a capture.
Strangely, clearing the fault codes returned the vehicle to normal operation and I haven't had a problem since.
The only other abnormality that day is it was raining. But subsequent drives on rainy days haven't triggered the issue.
Is there any known issues with the propulsion system failing like this?
On software V 5.0.10
Had the usual P2 infotainment issues over last few months which is usually solved with a soft reset of holding the home button for a long time and it resetting.
Recently did a long drive and the screen suddenly became black, no audio, no climate control and the steering wheel screen displays speed and charge but no maps. The front demister button also does not activate any of the fans.
Tried holding home button, demister and disconnecting the 12V battery for 30 minutes and still none of the above working.
Does anyone have any ideas please? It still drives fine and charges but no power to the main screen, no climate control and no sound even when using indicators. I feel bitter about booking it into the volvo garage and paying £200 at the minimum but I have tried all the fixes I've come across with no success
Thanks in advance
Part I ordered attached, other posts and comments have suggested its plug and play?
Now that I’ve gotten over the nonissue of range anxiety I’m wondering just how far I can go on a single charge.
Post your results bonus points for starting charge, finishing charge and kWh/100 mi/km
Hey everyone, looking for some outside perspectives on this decision.
I've been eyeing the Polestar 2 for a while and have found a configuration I really like. However, I know the fully redesigned next-gen model is expected sometime in spring/early 2027. Now I'm stuck in the classic "buy now vs. wait" dilemma.
Some background: I actually test drove the Polestar 4, but it's just too big for my taste — and honestly, I really disliked the fully display-based controls. I've heard Polestar has said they'll bring back physical buttons on future models, but it's unclear whether that will already apply to the new P2 or not.
A few things that make this tricky for me:
- I'd be charging at home ~90% of the time, so charging network coverage isn't a huge factor
- My current Audi will cost me around €2,000 this year in running costs (service, winter tyres, etc.) — so waiting isn't free
- On top of that, if I sell my Audi now I'd likely get around €2,000 more than if I wait until next year — so the total cost of waiting could be closer to €4,000
- I already have my ideal spec picked out for the current P2, and the price/value seems solid right now
My questions for you:
When do you think we'll see the first real photos/specs of the new model?
Is it worth waiting for a completely redesigned car, or does a new platform usually mean early production issues and software bugs?
New models often come with first-year teething problems — how bad has that historically been with Polestar?
Would the €2,000 running cost of keeping my current car tip the scales for you?
I'm not in a desperate rush, but I also don't want to wait just for the sake of waiting if the current P2 is genuinely a great buy right now.
What would you do? 🙏
I love my 2 but I’m still intrigued from the emails I get from Polestar with all the different promotions and credits available to us on a 3.
Anyone willing to share their OTD price paid on a 3? Or any crazy deals you’ve heard about?
Browsing EVs & curious about long term reliability.

I have 2021 polestar 2 under CPO Warranty. My 12V battery died and it has gone to Volvo USA shop on Tuesday. They are saying it will take 1 week for the battery switch as they are busy. I asked for a loaner and they denied loaner is not available as it is only. the polestar site says I am eligible for loaner with CPO.
> Every Certified Polestar comes with access to 24/7 Polestar roadside assistance, providing peace of mind in the event of the unexpected. If any repairs are needed, we'll always use genuine Polestar parts and provide a loaner vehicle.

However I reached the polestar support and they replied:
"""
I understand your frustration regarding the transportation situation while your vehicle remains in service.
Unfortunately, the retailer is correct in that loaner vehicles and rental assistance are generally tied to the original manufacturer’s warranty coverage. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty coverage does not typically include loaner or rental reimbursement benefits in the same way.
While you are certainly welcome to obtain a rental vehicle at your own discretion, there is unfortunately no standard reimbursement process available under the CPO warranty program for those expenses.
I do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Please let me know if there is anything further I can assist with regarding your case.
""""
Is this correct and their website is wrong or are they misleading me ?
I keep the larger key with buttons at home in a safe drawer and only is the activity key. Lately, I've had a few times where my car doesn't recognize the key for a minute or two while I'm frustratingly pulling on the door handle . Eventually it wakes up , but I'm wondering if the problem could get worse . I'm assuming the car will alert me when the battery in the key starts to get low?? My TCAM has been having a bit of trouble lately too, does that module have anything to keys?
