18 months of ownership and I still think it’s such a great looking car.

I remember when I was looking at all the different EV’s, the two things I didn’t want was a convoluted infotainment system and an overly aerodynamic design. I appreciate it helps with range, but I just don’t like the way super slippery cars look. I’m still so happy with my choice and intend on keeping this car for many more years.

Discovery Sport EV?

So earlier today I saw a Discovery Sport with a green EV number plate? Pretty sure they don’t make an EV variant of that car, so just wondering why it would have an EV plate? Didn’t look like a personalised one, but even if it was is that allowed? Not posting this because I’m wound up or anything, just interested 🤷‍♂️

New boots!

After twenty years of service, I’m finally retiring my trusty SPKs! These new ones are an absolute game changer in regard to comfort. Very happy with them and especially so for the price. Now just need to wait nine months for my next trip.. 😄

Hi all. So I swapped over from Scottish Power to EDF which initially seemed fine. However they’re now saying my smart meters aren’t communicating and that someone needs to come and look at them. Problem is they can’t switch me over to the EV tariff I signed up with until this is done, meaning I’m currently paying a lot more to charge my car. Has anyone had similar issues?

Also, I noticed my smart meter is still displaying the Scottish Power unit rate, so I’m wondering if the off-peak unit rate (1am to 6am) may still be in effect? If so I could at least still charge the car at a decent rate while they fix these technical problems. Any thoughts appreciated, thanks 🙏

Just wondering if anyone is on the EDF EV tariff, and if so how long did it take to change over? My supply switched from Scottish Power yesterday, but they said I would start on the standard tariff with it then changing to the EV tariff shortly after. Don’t really want to charge the car at standard rate but may have to if the off-peak price doesn’t kick in sooner than later?
