Ever since starting Infliximab for Crohn’s, I feel like I catch everything now.

Mostly:

• colds
• lingering coughs
• sore throat/throat infections
• sinus stuff
• mucus that hangs around forever
• taking way longer to recover than before

Even a “small cold” can turn into 2–3 weeks of coughing and feeling run down.

I’ve also noticed my teeth seem to get plaque/tartar faster lately, which is weird.

The frustrating part is not even getting sick — it’s how LONG it lasts now.

Curious if others experienced the same:

• Did Infliximab increase infections for you?
• Did recovery time get much slower?
• Anything that actually helped?
• Masks? Supplements? Lifestyle changes?
• Did switching biologics improve things?

Would appreciate hearing real experiences because this is getting pretty exhausting honestly.

We apparently bought a contaminated bag of rice and it was stored in our hallway/storage closet. The bag has already been thrown away, but now the rice weevils seem to be all over the house (3-floor family home).

So far we have:

• vacuumed everything
• mopped floors
• cleaned and reorganized cabinets
• checked dry food supplies
• thrown out suspicious products
• cleaned surfaces thoroughly

But we still keep finding random adult weevils here and there — on walls, ceilings, stairs, living room, etc. Not massive swarms, but enough to drive us crazy.

I suspect there may still be hidden eggs or another food source somewhere. We’ve now moved most dry foods into sealed containers.
