Hello,

Rewatching again, not sure how many now.

Currently at S05E22 "Red John's Rules".

In this episode, Patrick tells Lisbon about a happy memory he has had since he was a kid, which was about the girl who just died. He never met her again after he saw that.

"It is like RJ reached into my head and killed a happy memory."

This could of course be a coincidence, but my brain went on another trip.
Firstly, i was a bit more disappointed how it all ended, but that lane has been travelled too much so instead I thought, what if Patrick's father was RJ?

He taught him everything, how to read people, how steal, how to ... (you get the idea).

He might also have a very good insight into Patrick's way of reasoning (about the names for example later).

I didn't think it through thoroughly, but i realized i would be happy to discuss it with other fans, and, here i am, posting.

What would be your take on that?

What would be better? What would be worse?
