Hey folks… does anyone know of a good source for mealworms in the area? I know the pet stores carry them but they can be rather expensive. Quantities of 500-1k would be grand but I thought I would ask… Many thanks!
Starting to see 4$ being broken in Hickory but many still holding at 3.99 and a few a little lower… Several in Maiden and 4.19 at the Shell Station, the only major oil company I’ve found.
But yet, here I am…! We redid our kitchen and I’m a bit stuck on countertop/backsplash combinations to go with the current setup. Initially we were looking at Taj due to the earth tone and thought it would go well and light with the walnut cabinets. We ended up taking a detour and believe that soapstone countertop with a light grey porcelain 2x4 herringbone tile (satin/matt with one shade variance in grout) might look really good with what we have working. Since I don’t know any designers and very little trust in the unknown designer (initially paid for one who drew some lines on a paper and provided a cut sheet… I kid you not) I decided to bare my soul to the masses…
The first image is a pretty good representation of our kitchen giving the impression of soapstone and tile we are leaning towards. The other pictures are actual photos of the kitchen in its current state… The island counter is Magma Gold and didn’t want to busy up the backsplash to much as there is enough going on I believe. Still in progress and I apologize for the clutter since these pictures were not taken to be posted!!! :) Any constructive criticism or comments will be very much appreciated! Thank you
I would like to see about getting some Spanish lessons in the area… maybe 2+/- hours a week private/semiprivate for conversational Spanish. Been working hard with an online program so I believe it might be more towards intermediate to low side of advanced. Hours can fit your schedule but really need someone that has the ability to teach and talk with instead of “here, read this book! I am a good pupil… a VERY good pupil and eager to learn more than I currently do. Muchas Gracias!
