First ever harvest of my garden!

My dad and I have a garden. Our Lettuce bolted, broccoli flowered, basil flowered, Peas didn’t have enough support, BUT ☝️ We have a cherry tomato that has ripen, some pea pods before we pull the plants to start for next year, sweet peppers are growing, garlic is thriving, onions? not making me cry. We also have asparagus growing as well.

Tomatoes started to experience a blight but i managed to save it by cutting the branches before it went further down the line. The heatwave did mess up my tomato’s and we lost of a lot branches as well, BUT!!!! There is new growth as well!

We are collecting the seeds of the bolted lettuce, seeds of the broccoli, and basil for next year. Not a loss, just an investment. My dad and I will make a game plan for next year and optimize the space better.

This is the first time i’ve ever gardened, so there have been hiccups.

Must…wrap myself… in blanket!

She is notoriously ALWAYS in blankets, whenever she can. We have to feel the blankets on the couch so we don’t sit on her.

It has been a while since I posted!! Louie is now 6 and ripley is nearing 2. She is still a freak of nature that needs to be put in a lab and studied.
