Seizures

Hello! This is my first time posting. We have a 3 year old Boston name Pippie Mae! This spring she started to experience seizures. The first one came out of no where and scared us to death. We went to the emergency vet and everything was normal. We were told that it could be a one-off thing and to just monitor her. Meds would be considered if she had three in a month. 4 weeks later she had another one, and then another 6 weeks after that. Then, 3 weeks later she had cluster seizures (4 in one day) and had to go back to the emergency vet. She started phenobarbital at that point. 2.5 weeks later she had another cluster seizure experience and had to be hospitalized overnight. Kepra was added to her medicine regimen. She was good for about a month, but this past Friday she started having seizures again and they were very bad this time. They were only about 15 minutes apart and by the time we got to the emergency vet, she was having them continuously and it was very difficult for the vet to get them under control. She was hospitalized all of Friday and most of Saturday. They finally were able to stop her seizures and two additional meds were added to her regimen, meaning she now takes four different meds twice a day. We have a neurology appointment this week and I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this? She was perfectly fine until one evening, she just wasn’t anymore. I am scared because each episode has gotten worse and worse, even with the help of medicine.

Marketing team got so close...

This popped up in my paid ads and I got excited and clicked it. They used a boston in the pictures but then called them French bull dog design. They got so close... lol anyways had to share with my boston community because the shoes are so cute!

Time for diapers?

My Layla is 14 years old and starting to have a lot of accidents in the house. She is going blind and deaf. When we tried puppy diapers when she was younger, they never stayed on because she has no tail. Any recommendations for ones that works well for Bostons w/o tails? Or any other products that help in this situation? Thanks in advance! Including a cute pic of her from a few years ago. :)

Cooling Vest for Summer

I often see posts looking for guidance on how to keep Bostons cool. A user highly recommend the Canada Pooch cooling vest. I was looking on Chewy yesterday for ear cleaner and paw spray for allergies and found this on clearance for $27.70 reg $60.99. I have a big Boston with a 22" chest! Various sizes are on clearance in different styles. I saved a pullover neck scarf for next time. Some Halloween costumes are on clearance too for $2.75-$7.00 and up. My girl is going to be Supergirl this year.

My baby was very brave during the fireworks tonight. 🎆

He was barking at them and protecting me. He wasn’t scared at all which is surprising because he can be a little timid at times

He is part pug too
