Hi everyone, first time mom here and I have my first cervical check soon.

I already get really nervous with anything medical, and I’m scared it’s going to hurt (ironic, considering that I’m literally going to give birth soon haha) but I honestly don’t know what to expect or how uncomfortable or painful a cervical check actually is…

For those who’ve had one before, what did it feel like for you? Was there anything that helped you relax or made it easier? I think hearing real experiences would help calm my nerves a little.
