I am NOT the HR. I am the guy who has been doing the facility managers job in addition to my own for several years after our last one left for a much better opportunity. I don't blame him, but I have absorbed a considerable amount of his duties. We are a 40 person late term startup with a recent good investment that is allowing us to fill this position. We have amazing health care (pay 80% of monthly premiums). Good vacation and paid holidays. We have great management. The job is south of Boston. I drive 55 miles one way because this job is worth it. I'm convinced our search company is filtering out good candidates, so Im bypassing the system.

What I am looking for: Someone that has worked on HVAC before and knows how to use a meter, change belts, change filters. Someone that can handle basic plumbing with a propress. Any experience with Swagelok is a plus. Someone that has no issue with going to the roof in any weather to work on equipment. Someone that can handle being at the top of a ladder to change lights. You will work around dangerous chemicals and can't be stupid. If you don't understand the difference between pressure and vacuum please don't DM me. It's all basic as hell. Don't waste my time, I will ask technical questions before submitting your resume. What would sell your resume is if experience managing any sort of improvement projects is on it. I know for a fact that my boss is looking to home grow someone up to facility manager rather than hire. Techs with 10-15 years and a very technical background are best.(Im former navy nuke). I've worked there since 2008. Most of our employees are 8-16 years here. I won't work anywhere else for any money is my honest opinion.

Im going to be honest, I have never posted here before and if bots drown my DM's I'm deleting it. This is a real job looking for a real technician that can do it all.
