Learner here with limited time on the roads. I've always been the type to keep it safe and have been riding my push-bike to work daily but today my tyre had a puncture and I had to walk home which took an hour and half. Work hours mean I can't get items needed to repair it until the weekend, but I've been putting off riding my motorbike because I wasn't completely confident. I've been practicing mainly on the weekends around the neighbourhood but never went out on the roads.
I've read people have actually ridden their bikes straight from the dealership and how scared they were but ultimately were fine in the end. I think the universe is showing me a sign to just put myself out there and do it, otherwise I'll never really benefit from using my motorbike. I'm determined to test the waters, knowing that my lack of confidence really just stems from me being the anxious type and I will adapt accordingly once the adrenaline rush flies over and once I know I did it, I'll begin my journey of being a safe and vigilant motorcyclist.
Can anyone else confirm their initial stage of riding was scary as hell, but you eventually get accustomed to it?
