Hey all,

Basically, as the title describes. I'm looking at a ceiling lines with a strip along the tops of the walls. I am trying to understand what power requirements i might need and how best to manage this.

I think i'm set on WS2812B with a WLED setup for animations and sound control for the odd occasion i do game. I will separately stick some LEDS behind my screens with the leftovers - I will have approx 3m left over from buying 3x5m strips, and i'm further investigating controllers to see if i can sync the PC screen colours to the colours at the top of the walls - but they seem simple in comparison to the requirements of the the power injections.

Can someone provide some advice?

It'll be 12 metres of 60LED/M individually addressable, running through a yet undefined WLED controller.

A power calculator is saying i'll need 6 injections.

I potentially can inject in 3 of the corners including the starting point, but 2 would be better. (Rectangle room).

I planned to rig this up within diffuser channels, and i wonder if it's possible to simply run the additional wire required along the channels from the original source point - to minimise wires on my walls/door frame.

Truly, quite new at this, budget is already more or less maxed with the LED strips, diffusers and 1 power supply and controller, so trying to figure out where to go from here.
