The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) was busy that day. Another student of Tracen has collapsed and was rushed immediately.
Whilst the assistant nurses and doctors were doing the scrubs, an imposing figure walked in. They breathed a sigh of relief. The chief doctor has arrived.
The patient was Rhein Kraft. Apparently, she was seen clutching her chest by her close friends before collapsing. Now the medical team is doing their best to resuscitate her by any means. However, despite their best efforts, the flat lining sound echoed around the sterile room.
The nurses started shedding tears, the doctors held back sniffles. Except one. They refused failure. They never failed before. It won't have yet to come to pass.
"Damn it!" Their yell shook the room. It didn't silence the grief, it made it feel heavier. "Not now! Not after everything!" They slammed the operating table. "Charge the defibrillator." A nurse stuttered, "W-we c-c-can't —" "No! I won't say it's over unless I know it is so! Charge it!"
The defibrillator is charged and ready to go. "Three Goddesses, don't let me down." With a battle cry, they slam it on Kraft's chest. The entire electric grid shut down for five seconds. And then... *beep~~beep~~beep*. The rhythmic sound echos around. Everyone found themselves breathing in gratitude for another life saved.
Days later, Kraft woke up. She's in a private ward, unable to move yet, surrounded by her friends. And here comes the miracle worker themselves. "Good to see you awake, Rhein Kraft. Am I glad to be able to save you." Her promising tomorrow begins there.
— So, this is a new one I cooked up. Imagine an AU where a doctor (sex and form are ambiguous), is actually the sole reason the Umas who have died in our world in unjust ways, gets to not have those same reasons take them away from the land of the living again, and ensures they can get back in competitive clearance for the Dream Series.
· I'll give another example.
1998 Autumn Tenno Sho. Silence Suzuka was dominant. But something went wrong. And fortunately, perhaps her heart, adrenaline, or a combination of the two, made her pull away from the track to the side, writhing and hobbling in pain as soon as she's by herself. She was sedated and brought to the hospital, where they await, having received the call.
See, it's unwise to let the leg heal by itself for Umas, as it causes unceasing excruciating pain that no painkiller can suppress. As such, fixing the bones through surgery would be the best option. As fate would have it, the one assigned to her is the best in the country, if not the world.
Having treated Rice Shower a couple years ago, though it was more a field operation than a surgical operation, this isn't new to them. But the problems that can arise because of this type of injury are pressing on, and not wanting to waste time, they worked on the shattered bones, torn tissue, and blood flow to ensure her legs will work again.
The strange thing now, is that they decided, on top of being a professional surgeon, be Suzuka's personal physical therapist. Although rigorous, it is crafted with her interests, her comfort and her health. Suzuka managed to recover, and though she feels regret not being able to finish her final race, she resolves herself to feel the sensation of being in the lead farther than anyone else once more. And she eternally thanks the doctor that refused to back down.
This is more a freeform fanfic, so make adjustments as you please for your own version. I'll lay down ground rules, however.
There must always be a Trainer (male or female, Uma or human)
This trainer MUST have the power to go at impossible speeds, on top of seeing the multiverse
As to how no. 2 is possible, look at the title. These particular winds, on top of giving speed and looking into alternate universes, [allows for races for one particular schedule bracket to be seen all at once during their season. (Like, say, the trainer looks for a promising rival during the Twinkle Climax races, and knows that you cannot run, for example, the Oka Sho and Satsuki Sho at the same time, so at least they know who it may be.)] - optional
No enemies to fight. Just pressure of training or racing, on top of the shop, recreation, or rest. If necessary, also spending time at the clinic.
As to why these powers exist, think of it like the alarm clocks used to reset races that could have gone better. So yes, Flashpoint is the name of the game.
I just got inspired by "BLOW my GALE" to create this fanfic idea.
So... You got run over by a horse. that sucks. lets hope the three goddesses pity you and send isekai you to the Umamusume universe. So you've been isekai-ed into the main area of Tracen Academy, and you've been uma-fied, (you plus horse ears and tail) . Let's assume you're guaranteed a spot in the academy but yet to be scouted, and its the URA finale scenario. What do you do?
bonus points if you make a name for yourself like a race horse.
Personally I'd probably visit Neo Universe about the multiverse and stuff, then pull a super creek and just yoink the guy with a yellow T on his face. i think i'd fall in with the trio of Ticket, Taishin, and Hyahide and make a quartet. I wanna win enough money through races to secure a living after the events of my career. Knowing myself I'd lose every race but lets say the trainer is perfect and I win the Twinkle Series. Boom thats being set for life as an idol for the rest of my life and all i have to do is be in the occasional concert?
I want to steer off-course for this one, but trust, this should interest you.
To clarify, there are fan fictions of this idea, but the writing is confusing at best, that I don't think a cohesive story was in the mind of the authors. With that being said, I want to present ideas that I could not write well, but with the right direction, will work.
- Kingdom Come (For those not familiar, the Flash of this universe is constantly in the Speed Force 24/7, stopping crime. Example, you're a thief breaking in, one blink later, you're in a jail cell. That's how it is, thus any bad thing is prevented before it is done, and the city is considered crime-free.) — For this idea, I want a slow burn story, an OC trainer with an OC Uma team, and supernaturally fast entities that take out the members (not kill, but enough injury that they are not eligible to compete, though it's not beneath them to toe the thin line between life and death). To protect them from further harm, at the end, he sacrificed his physical presence for their overall victory, recovery, and safety.
- Voltage (Inspired by 5th Anniversary Song) — Supernatural eldritch beings cut off power around Tracen's power grid. Even backup generators did not work. These entities attack at night. An OC trainer must awaken their gift from the Three Goddesses and restore electricity to the school, the weakness of the entities.
- Outworldly Blitz — Tracen's unaware of the threats that can destroy their universe by killing even one Uma (For context, every Uma is an anchor being, if you know what that means). MC is determined to ensure that never happens. The battle for the world has gone unnoticed, save for one.
- Hero of Tracen — MC has speed powers, but is limited by the Goddesses. No superpowered threats, just pure detective work.
- Flash — OC trainer granted something akin to the Speed Force by the Goddesses. When using it, becomes an Umamusume that Tachyon only dreams of becoming (going at the speed beyond Uma limits, to light speed, and beyond). Entities attack mid-race, thus his job is to prevent these from causing an Uma to suffer something bad. [I actually have quite the number, from the three seasons individually, one for RTTT, one for BOANE, one for Cinderella Gray, one for Star Blossom, etc., or a unified single MC.]
P. S. : You may take these ideas and expand the individual lore.
