Hi everybody! I sent an email a few days ago to the Italian embassy in Bolivia to ask for advice regarding bus travel in the country and they replied today saying that, aside from bus travel being very difficult between a lot of parts of the country, there's a possibility that flights from El Alto airport might be suspended due to a shortage in jet fuel caused by the prolonged blockade, which is something I thought might happen, but never saw mentioned anywhere.

Has anybody heard anything like that? Are they just exercising an excess of caution? Or is there a concrete possibility that I might get stuck in El Alto airport without being able to fly to Uyuni?
