This season was clearly disappointing, but what truly disappointed me was the postseason. As a half-season ticket holder, this year they automatically added postseason games to my account, and I had the option to sell or keep them.
We attended a game during the Celtics series, and our section was filled with more Celtics fans than Sixers fans. But let me tell you, the experience at MSG South in Round 2 was the most embarrassing sporting event I’ve ever been a part of.
Before the playoffs began, we had planned to renew our tickets, but after the disappointing postseason experience, there’s no way we’ll invest in an organization that clearly doesn’t care about its fans. I called my representative yesterday to request a cancellation, and she’s now escalating the matter to her sales director to see what they can do.
I’m curious to know if anyone else is going to stick with this season. I’m completely fed up and would much rather watch the games from home or attend a few occasional games.
