Decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/K6UfSMk67UqhyoBzykCiOA

I put together this deck right when Tarkir: Dragonstorm came out as I am looking to complete the 32 commander deck challenge and I was missing Temur. A group of friends wanted to place an order of proxy’s and I wanted to join in so I decided to print this deck. I built it as a low power voltron commander since I didn’t have a voltron deck yet and she seemed to already have great keywords as well as card draw attached to her.

When we ordered the decks I was filled with regret and thought that I would just instantly hate her because, on the surface, voltron strategies can be super boring. You play at sorcery speed 90% of the time and people can take advantage of swinging into a pretty open board. However, when the cards arrived I sleeved her up and INSTANTLY fell in love.

Games play out so different very frequently. Yes I am primarily a sorcery speed deck, but there is enough interaction that can protect Eshki I don’t feel like I am idly sitting by waiting for my turn again. The lower powered cards like [[Trusted Advisor]] or [[Rosethorn Acolyte//Seasonal Ritual]] or even [[Contest of Claws]] feel so strong when all they have to do is trigger Eshki and I’m always finding new pieces that elevate the tempo of this deck.

I would love to hear people reactions to the decklist and would also love to hear about other peoples pet decks that they never really thought they would love!
