Posting here because their support team has been useless and I need help getting eyes on this.

So in February I booked 1 Platinum tickets for the Kanye / Ye Live in India concert through District (Zomato's event ticketing thing).

Paid 22,509 total in two parts of 11,254.50 each via UPI from my IDFC account.

Concert got postponed, refunds opened, I clicked refund without realising my IDFC account was frozen at the time due to some unrelated cyber complaint mess (long story, that's getting sorted separately)

Here's where it gets stupid.

District tried to refund the first 11,254.50 to my source IDFC account. Obviously it bounced back to them since the account was frozen. They emailed me on 25 March with an RRN saying refund successful. Bank checked. Nothing came in. Bank said it bounced.

So they email me a few times asking for an alternate account. I give them my AU Small Finance Bank details with cancelled cheque, PAN, the whole deal on 30 March.

On 2 April they reply saying and I quote "we are currently processing your refund and the amount will be credited to your provided account within three weeks." Cool. Three weeks.

Then on 21 April I get an email saying they processed the second 11,254.50 refund... to my IDFC source account again. The frozen one. The one we explicitly agreed not to use. With another RRN.

Both refunds bounced back. Neither bank shows any credit. I've been to both banks like 4 times. Both gave me written and verbal confirmation that no money came in against those RRNs and Told me it's credited to them, as my acc is frozen. The money is literally sitting with District somewhere.

Their support has been completely silent on where the money actually is. Every reply is "check with your bank, here's the RRN." Bro I have CHECKED with the bank. Multiple banks. Multiple times. The money is with you.

It's been 6+ weeks. I have all the email screenshots, both bank statements, original payment receipts. Sent them a final demand email today CC'ing leadership and tagging them on Twitter too.

Anyone been through this with District before? Any way to escalate faster? Also if anyone from @districtbyzomato or @zomato sees this, my booking ID is 14858048, please for the love of god just send my money back 🙏
