Hi everyone. So I’m going through a tough time. I’ve never had any gifts of this sort really but in the past couple years i have had instances where God spoke to me and then i had some visions of things that are going to happen. Also when i was a child i saw spirits on one occasion and interacted with one on another occasion and had something close to an NDE. I speak out loud to a deceased loved one in hopes of connecting and ask for signs and believe i have received some in the past. But lately i am not getting anything and now that i actually need the guidance or help it seems silent.
I consider myself Christian
I am fearful of speaking to a medium because i have been told by people that it will open me up to bad spirits.
I spoke to a couple when i was younger but i don’t know if they were real
I’ve also never told anyone the entirety of everything i just said.
What are the risks with these things generally? How often or easily can it be a bad spirit i open myself up to or pretends to be someone they aren’t. I see in here that those of you who are mediums are sometimes approached or almost harassed by a bad spirit so wouldn’t i be possibly opening myself up to that spirit as well?
