Today my student has had a very high fever for 3 days , but her mom still forced her to study. She was literally shivering because of the fever.

I saw her on Wednesday and asked, “Did you go to the doctor or take any medicine?” She said, “Nhi, just paracetamol li thi nd paati kar diya tha mummy ne.”

I literally coerced her into seeing a doctor the next day. But when I asked her today, she told me she still had dance class, drawing class, tuition, and school.

I was like, is her mom even in the right mind? Any mother would prioritize her daughter’s health over these things.

And the worst part is, when I told her mother about her condition, she just turned off the fan’s switch… like WTH 😭
