In another life, I'd love to be a rabbit instead of a human...

Yeah, preferably not in China, though.🫡

Being a haryanvi outside haryana is interesting

( Image unrelated)

Okay so this is a pov you guys don't hear much about. I am a 20M originally from haryana but currently staying in some other state because of college. So I come from jaat community and man it's so weird to introduce myself to people , everytime i meet someone new and when we exchange basic info like name , place etcetc with eachother , they always give me looks when I tell em that I am from haryana and immediately their next question is are you jaat ? and it honestly makes me a lil uncomfortable. Like why are you asking this bro , yes I am jaat but why did you fucking asked.

Not everyone does this ofc but most of the people I've met did this and it honestly is uncomfortable as hell. I am well aware of all the stereotypes people have against us and they treat me like this only , they think I am some guy who drinks milk all day and fight with people ( my accent is a lil aggressive ).

i remember on my first day of college we were introducing ourselves to the rest of my classmates and bc these fukers they were like ki we are seeing a jaat first time in our life like tf bro. Since I stayed most of life in haryana I am unaware of what other people in other parts of India think bout haryanvis , I wanna know it from you guys.

Are they ₹etarded? Why is it becoming normal for grown adults to act like monkeys? They literally contaminated the baby formula

The babies brought to the NICU are already in a weak state and doing this u are unnecessarily putting them at stake

Not to mention those boxes cost like 1000 or more…so poor parents are already paying through the nose for nicu and on top for these “shots”

On top of that, these nurses VERY LIKELY risk transferring Herpes/HSV to the kids. It's transferable by saliva like this, and for the weak immune system of infants, it can easily kill them or leave them with permanent disabilities

And if that doesn't happen, they're stuck with a permanent case of HSV

And the fact that they bring in phones god knows where they travelled with that phone. Touching it and directly handling the babies.

Nicu has premature and extremely sensitive babies. They are in the NICU FOR A REASON.

IF YOU BECAME A DOCTOR/NURSES AFTER SO MANY HARDSHIPS YOU MUST KNOW THE BASICS. EVEN KIDS KNOW TO SANISTISE THEIR HANDS AND NOT TOUXH THE BABIES UNLESS THEYRE ASKED TO

First time celebrating birthday alone.

So its my first time celebrating my birthday alone today and its a strange feeling, turned 22 , i already feel i am getting old man.
For context- i work in startup in a small town in west bengal , far away from my family and friends and really dont have a friend circle here.

It felt strange , i went to office , then gym , didnt go out anywhere, ordered some kfc , thandi beer and a movie. Well it feels strange, in a city no one knows its your birthday and nobody cares , enjoying your own company was the only option left. Ig this is adulting. Nevertheless i found it soothing and relaxing, so happy birthday to me reddit family 🥳🥳

Edit- i’ll reply to y’ll comments in a bit , right now i am really into the movie and beer 🥴

Edit2- thank you so much reddit family, y’ll are sweet af , i love strangers being kind to each other and i think we need more of that in this world , thank you once again

JUST FOUND OUT MY HUSBAND TOOK DOWRY. Feeling hollow. What should I do?

I got married through AM about a month ago. We got introduced 2 years ago through mutual family friends. We hit it off quite well and bonded so well that people used to speculate that it was a love marriage.

Before, During and even after 1 month of our marriage, I felt super loved by my husband. Like that guy adored me. And I was so much in love with him.

2 days ago, I somehow found out that my husband's family took 30 L in dowry from us.

For my family, it's a huge amount. I knew that my parents were giving something like 5-7L that I somehow couldn't talk them out of but they insisted it was for us to buy stuff for our future home. My In-laws also talked about giving us stuff. So, I decided to let it go.

Now, I find out that everyone basically lied to me and on top of that, MY HUSBAND KNEW EVERYTHING.

For 2 days, I can't process what I'm feeling. I feel sad, betrayed and disgusted even looking at my husband. I can't bring myself to talk to him.

He keeps asking me what's wrong. Bringing me stuff I like. Trying to make me laugh. But I just have this idk how do I describe it, hollow type of feeling. I don't want to talk to him. I have already fought with my parents about the lie but I can't bring myself to talk to my husband. Something has just changed. IDK what to do.

Liked Uncle's Reply, good job

This mindset about Indian is alarmingly increasing, atp it's just normalised. I also got many vile comments on social media just because I'm Indian, but here Uncle handled it so well. Appreciate it. Calm and composed. But sharp and direct as well.

Always 10/10. Simply Unmatched, one of one.

She’s not just a 10/10; she’s the standard the rating was made for.

Delhi Garbage Mountain Getting Cleared :

The Delhi government has said the old waste at the Okhla landfill has been cleared after decades of garbage buildup. Around 4 lakh tonnes of waste dumped at the site until 2025 was treated using biomining and bioremediation over the past 1.5 years.

The 62-acre landfill is being cleaned by separating the waste into different materials. Around 70–75% of the processed waste is inert and reused, while recyclable material is recovered and combustible waste is sent to waste-to-energy plants. The government now plans to clear around 15.06 lakh tonnes of newer waste that built up over the last 1.5 years by October 2026. Delhi also plans to add another 1,000 tonnes per day of waste-to-energy capacity at Okhla by March 2027. Locals have welcomed the removal of the long-standing garbage mountain.
