New transmission and clutch same pedal assembly and flywheel. Is this normal?
Note: I personally have not stepped foot in this car since 2023 and has been sitting on a secluded side street in the elements. Occasionally being turned on and maybe went around the block once every couple months.
I’m trying to demonstrate depressing the clutch as smooth as possible and I don’t remember it being this rough, trying to push in the pedal is a heavy feeling (heavier than I can recall probably correlates with the new clutch) but when I’m trying to get into first gear it’s hard to smoothly depress without the pedal pushing back. And the squeaking I don’t recall ever being there.
Just paid the shop this morning and they’re providing a warranty. Should I explain it like I did to them and they should make it right or am I going to shell out more for a new(ish) pedal assembly?
