Hello Subie Fam, first time poster here.. Trying to figure out engine this car has my son got..What engine does this 2011 Subaru Forester XT have?

-Manufacture Date 03/2011

-2011 Forester XT 4AT (Turbo)

-(the 3rd pic is taken from the passenger side looking at side of engine/turbo/etc)

Trying to locate the PCV valve for him so we can replace it. We have found it on YouTube videos for Non-Turbo, but this car has been a bit of a mystery to us with trying to order misc parts thanks to the engine change partly through that year from Subaru. Any help would mean the world to us locating this PCV valve…

genuine question, if it’s actually awful please let me know. i just installed new vland headlights to my wrx va and the headlights (red) and DRL’s (yellow) need an extra cable from the fuse box. everything works and has been plugged in correctly, im wondering if the placement of these wires / electrical tape is fine. i’ve tried to make sure to avoid any moving parts or hot parts like the radiator tube, but i wanted to make sure im not touching anything else that would damage the car or the wiring. again if something is clearly wrong please let me know 🙏

Living the dream 🙏🏽 New to the WRX gang with my 2026 Ts :) any tips/advice in treating her the best from one owner to another?

My car makes this noise at around 2.2-3k rpm in any gear including neutral. Brand new trans and engine fluid. Can only really hear from inside the car or underneath and it kind of sounds like the bell housing area. It hasn’t gotten any louder or quieter the past few days.

I was told that it’s probably a very very expensive fix due to it being the quarter panel, scraping/paint goes up the the drivers side door :( all because someone decided to merge into my lane without checking

I have a 2009 WRX Hatch that is fully stock except for a Cobb stage 1 tune. My DAM dropped to 0.688 a few weeks ago on a roadtrip when climbing a hill, coolant temp was 230 and I was pushing some boost when the DAM dropped. Def was pushing it as I had two bikes on top, 2 dogs, my gf, and our bags. Car runs and sounds fine like it did before the DAM dropped.

I’m almost through 2 full tanks of CostCo gas and my DAM hasn’t come back up. I’ve been driving it normally and occasionally letting the rpm’s get high in effort to get the computer to learn.

What should my next steps be? Should I reflash my ecu? If so, is that as simple as re-loading my stage 1 tune?

Ok so I attempted to purchase a black oem grill, it came oem gray. So now with two identical grills I decided to make a custom one with all the vents cut out. Now since my car is gray I have three options all black, black trim with oem gray vents, or oem gray trim with black vents.

Made this over the weekend after seeing one online sell for close to $300. Figured i could make one myself. Wired to turn on/off with key ignition as well as Waterproof. Made an outline on clear acrylic and put in color changing Monster rgb led strip light. Lemme know what you think.
