53C / 555 edition blue, anyone know of a wrap that’s similar?

I’d love to see what this color looks like on a VA wrx, testing something similar on a panel or two would be great if anyone has a suggestion.

What kind of residue is on my headlights, and what’s the best way to remove it?

New to me headlights (2018-20 Subaru WRX LEDs); looks perfectly clear other than this spotty residue. To me it looks adhesive from a protective wrap, but not sure at all!

Isopropyl did nothing, it’s definitely on the outside because I can feel it. If anyone has seen this before please let me know as I’m new to headlight restorations!

Aluminum prototype (almost) done!

Need to swap the neck pickup’s base plate for a shorter one and wire it up still… Extremely mix matched colors; various test parts fitted together. But I think the overall combination still looks pretty nice.

I’d like the final prototype, and hopefully the first production batch, to be mostly natural aluminum color, dark grey fretboard, and the rest of the accents dark grey/ black. I think I’ll keep the yellow switch cap as well, or maybe find a more orange one.

7.4lbs right now, I plan on removing more material from the inside of the neck to get that even lower next time around.

What do you think of a Terraria style NPC mod?

My biggest gripe with solo Valheim, as someone who enjoys building, is that my base feels lonely. I feel discouraged from building things that look like villages or have multiple beds.

One of my favorite aspects of Terraria’s NPCs is creating unique houses that suit each one, I don’t think I’d ever expanded from my starter house if it weren’t for them. They also tie nicely into the games sense of progression, make the world feel lived in, and most importantly don’t play the game for you (Like the aim of most Valheim NPC mods).

Imagine getting a Dvergr hunter to move into your base after defeating Eikthyr, or freeing an imprisoned cultist from the howling caverns, and having these NPCs roam a small area around an assigned bed. They could have preferences for biomes and neighbors just like in Terraria. Not sure what rewards they could provide to the player that doesn’t feel like cheating though… Maybe some defend in raids, some accumulate resources like a beehive, or act as merchants.

I’m curious about what you guys would think of this more lightweight approach to NPC implementation over mods that seek to just add AI versions of the player.

Any current compatible mods for smaller army caps?

Having fun with the mod so far; my favorite thing is that the power of buildings, tech, and wonders seem more evened out so there’s less “build this and immediately double every yield”.

The one thing I dislike in both vox and vanilla civ is the size of armies needed. I do enjoy ancient-classical wars, but now in the industrial era needing40 units is not fun to me.

Is there anything people are using for the current version that effectively halves the cap?
