Recommendations on improving

I’ve been playing a lot of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 lately, and mostly only play Puyo Puyo. I’ve mastered stair stacking, but am looking to improve my skills more.

I’ve looked into GTR, but am having a lot of trouble building anything higher than a 5 chain. Does anyone have recommendations on how I can improve or any videos to watch?
