Creators: am I solving a real problem or overthinking this idea?Would creators actually use a platform that protects them from delayed payments and collaboration disputes?
Hi everyone, I’m researching an idea (not selling anything).
I’ve noticed that many creators deal with delayed payments, unclear deliverables, ghosting after content submission, changing requirements, and often have little leverage when disputes happen.
I’m exploring a creator-first platform that could potentially include:
• simple collaboration agreements
• payment tracking
• proof/evidence storage
• structured dispute resolution before escalation
• a small transaction fee only if a collaboration happens
My question:
- Have you personally faced this?
- How are you solving it today?
- Would you ever pay a small fee per transaction if it reduced risk?
- What would make this actually useful rather than just another platform?
P.S. Researching not launching .I’m genuinely testing the waters and trying to understand whether this is a real problem before building anything. I am up for stories not votes.
