I’m in a texting phase with this boy I met at my uni. I asked for his socials. We’ve been talking since 3 weeks now. Our conversations are always very casual, we talk about everything, our lives and hobbies, etc. But nothing romantic (yet).
The thing is, I’ve mentioned two times seeing each other irl, the first time he said « yeees because i always like to make new friends » and the second time he said that he was really busy (which is true, because he currently has exams and a job).
I don’t even think he realized that I had a crush on him. He told me that he’s not a « social person ». We have an age gap (I’m older), perhaps he’s lacking maturity on certain life topics such as relationships. I don’t even think he dated someone before.
Usually, I am not a « chaser ». I like men to take the initiative. But I didn’t care asking for a date because I find him really cute. The thing is, I’m going to ask him for the third time and I just feel like I’m forcing it. Any thoughts?
