Easy way to join zinc plt steel?
Built this box frame out of a single piece of angle steel, and I'm looking for an easy way to close it. Tried finding a welder to tack it for me via Craigslist "gigs", but got no bites.
Doesn't need to be particularly strong or pretty. It's for sifting stones/dirt. (I built a swinging cradle to mount it to. I have a sifter box made of 2x4s and chicken wire that I will load/unload from it, and use the arm to swing it to separate dirt from rock w/out breaking my back.) So it has to hold 50-100 lbs, and hopefully not get snagged on the chicken wire. I have some extra material, so could maybe make braces and use bolts. I'm just a little concerned with them snagging.
Ideas?
