I am graduating from Kennsaw State with my bachelors in accounting in a week. I consider myself a late bloomer in accounting because I didn’t switch my major until halfway through my junior year which I know is risky in this profession (I was initially management). Anyways I went to numerous networking events, probably could have gone to more, but to sum it up I have had no internships or experience, I’m at the end of my journey and I have missed many deadlines to apply for MAcc programs that begin in fall. I initially didn’t care to get my MAcc because I will be graduating with 150 credit hours because I took a couple extra courses plus I had an associates degree in business prior. So I was going to go the 150 credit hour route and self study with Becker, pass and hopefully get my 1 year of experience during or after testing. However, I am staring to second guess my decision as I think being out of school gives me a disadvantage because I know a lot of firms prefer to hire current students. Should I wait it out and start MAcc program at KSU next fall (or somewhere else) or should I just go ahead and start self studying and hopefully get recruited? Thanks for reading

I took the tableau cert ($75) and failed the first time but sales force allowed a free retake for the second time and I passed. However, I’m not exactly sure how I passed. It states that to pass you need 48% but i don’t think it is the total average for all sections because I averaged a 49% the first time so im confused
