Jake and Quaritch reacting to Pandora's wildlife joining the battle

What do we think was going through their heads in these moments?

There’s a very similar kind of awe on both of their faces, just from completely opposite sides of the conflict lol.

In both scenes, they are witnessing the full power of Pandora and the unity with which even the wildlife rises to defend its homeland, something that would be almost unthinkable on Earth. It’s not just animals attacking at random, there is intelligence guiding the attack - they know who the bad guys are, even if they look like one of their own.

For Jake in A1, what did that moment mean beyond simple relief of seeing the reinforcements arriving? Was it perhaps validation? The realization that Eywa had heard him after all - that he was worthy of being listened to?

And then there’s Recom Quaritch in A3. He has no memory of experiencing this moment the first time around, but he must have heard about it somehow. What must it feel like to witness it with his own new eyes now? Could it open him up to the idea of allowing himself to truly see?

And how did this moment affect Varang? She's smart, so she must understand what is going on. How will this realization affect her stance on Eywa and the fact that Eywa "chose to ignore her people" (as far as she understands it) while she actively sent help to Toruk Makto not once, but twice?

This picture was posted on the avatarlatino ig account. I have searched high and low and I couldn't find the original source, nor the artist behind it. Do we know whether it's legit or just a fan art with the concept art sticker on it?
