Please read this entire post carefully before applying. I’m being very specific because I receive a lot of messages from people who have little or no experience with Roblox content. If you don’t meet the requirements or don’t follow the application format, I will ignore your message.

The editing style I’m looking for

I genuinely think their editing style is one of the best in the Roblox niche, and that is the level I’m trying to build towards.

I’m not looking for a basic gameplay editor.

I’m looking for someone who understands retention-based YouTube editing.

That means:

• Fast pacing
• Funny editing
• Strong storytelling
• Creative transitions
• Zooms
• Sound effects
• Memes
• Motion graphics
• POV switching
• Suspense
• Comedy
• Emotional moments
• High-energy editing

The goal is to keep viewers engaged from the first second to the last.

What kind of videos I make

I mainly play Roblox.

This includes:

• Horror games
• Funny games
• Challenge videos
• Multiplayer games with friends
• Random Roblox experiences
• Planned videos with specific goals

Most of my videos are not just random gameplay.

I usually plan a concept before recording.

For example:

• Completing a difficult challenge
• Reaching a specific goal
• Surviving something
• Competing with friends
• Testing weird Roblox games

The editing should support the story of the video.

My recording setup

I record everything separately.

The editor will usually receive:

• Raw gameplay footage
• Facecam (separate file)
• My microphone audio
• Game audio
• Discord audio
• Sometimes my friends’ POV footage

This gives you complete creative freedom.

I want an editor who knows how to combine all of those elements into a polished YouTube video.

Video length

This is important.

My raw recordings are usually between 15 and 35 minutes long.

The final edited videos should ideally be between 15 and 20 minutes.

I don’t want unnecessary filler.

I want a video that is constantly moving.

If a section is boring, cut it.

If a moment can be made funnier, improve it.

Voiceovers

This is something I value a lot.

I want an editor who is comfortable working with voiceovers.

Even more importantly, I want an editor who can tell me when a voiceover is needed.

Sometimes a video becomes much better if a short voiceover explains what is happening or connects different parts of the story.

I want someone who thinks creatively, not someone who only cuts clips together.

My channel

I reached almost 8,000 subscribers in about 3 weeks.

The channel is growing quickly.

Because of that, I’m investing in making the videos better.

My goal is to upload 4 to 6 videos every month.

I also plan to do 1,000 Robux giveaways after videos in the future.

The audience is mainly kids and teenagers, which means the editing needs to be extremely engaging.

Bright visuals, strong pacing, reactions, subtitles, and effects are very important.

Budget

I currently have around $100 USD per month available for editing.

That does not mean $100 for one video.

That budget is for 4 to 6 videos per month combined.

YouTube is currently a hobby for me.

It is not my full-time job yet.

I want to be completely honest about that.

As the channel grows and starts generating revenue, the payment will increase.

I believe in long-term partnerships.

I would much rather grow together with an editor than constantly switch editors.

Communication

This is a requirement.

You must be comfortable using Discord.

I want regular communication.

I want to discuss ideas.

I want feedback.

I want progress updates.

I prefer that you screen share your edit while you’re working.

That way I can give feedback immediately.

It is much faster than:

Export → Revision → Export → Revision → Export

I want us to work as a team.

Subtitles

Subtitles are required.

Use subtitles for:

• Important moments
• Funny moments
• Voiceovers
• Reactions
• Moments where I stutter
• Moments where my speech is unclear

The subtitle style should be similar to MrBeast-style captions, preferably Komika Axis or something very similar.

Requirements

You must meet these requirements.

• You have played Roblox before.
• You must send your Roblox profile link.
• You have edited Roblox videos before.
• You understand popular Roblox games and trends.
• You use PayPal.
• You are comfortable communicating through Discord.

It is a plus if you are from a European country because time zones are easier, but it is not required.

• How much free time you realistically have each week

What you’ll do
I’ll send you my YouTube videos, and your job is to turn the funniest moments into YouTube Shorts.

I’m looking for:
Around 1 short every day or every other day.
Funny, engaging editing.
Modern memes when they fit.
Sound effects.
