[HIRING] YouTube Video Editor — Food & Experience Adventure Channel | $150–$250/video | Ongoing Weekly Work

I'm launching a first-person food and experience YouTube channel. Think Dylan Huynh, Ryan Trahan, Tonio Guajardo — "I Tried / I Investigated" format, shot on location. One video a week, 10–20 minutes.

What you'd be editing:

  • Organized footage handed to you with a full script — no sorting through raw clips
  • Full edit: pacing, music, sound design, motion graphics, captions, color

What I'm looking for:

  • Experience editing in this space — food, travel, experience content
  • Brings opinions to the edit, not just executes a checklist
  • 3–4 day turnaround once footage is received
  • Long-term weekly partnership, starting with a test edit

Budget: $150–$250/video depending on experience.

To apply: DM me with examples of work you've done similar to Dylan Huynh, Ryan Trahan, or Tonio Guajardo. If you don't have something close to that style, this isn't the right fit.

[ENTRY-LEVEL] Hobbyist Looking for Understated Video Essay Editing for Gaming

Hey there:

I'm a hobbyist video essayist with a budding interest in the sphere. I made a small video essay to show some professors of mine that I didn't intend for public consumption that ended up getting 26k views, and it's given me a taste to share my investigations and interests with the world.

I'm looking for an editor for video essays with a passion for environmental storytelling and narrative in video games - please understand what that means, and if you're unsure, you're welcome to ask me to clarify, but never pretend with me.

I'm not looking for highly fancy, over-the-top editing or big, pretty transitions. I'm mostly looking for someone who can splice clips together in a way that's pleasant to the eye and reinforces my scripts. The intent of these videos isn't to be formal-business-professional, but I'm not swinging to be making millions of dollars off of youtube - I'm here for fun, and the thing I'm going to be looking for most is an editor who creatively understands and challenges me, matches my passion, and isn't obsequious. I don't just want an editor - I want a creative partner with skills that compliment mine.

I'm looking for an editor who has played Undertale and Deltarune at the moment. Bonus points if you've also played any or all of Project Moon's works - we may be working together even more in the future.

I have two potential small scripts lined up, as well as a much larger, written script. I intend to trial a given editor with the small scripts, see if we work together well, before giving you the big script.

For the small videos, I will pay a minimum flat rate [$40] each. The following entitles you to a negotiable bonus;
- If you are able to source most supporting clips/images beyond the ones I specifically link in the script in a way that makes sense and serves the script, and I don't find myself forced to go and find source videos or record myself for elements of the script the game text supports.
- If you are able to edit subtitling in an immersive font (the game's) with a pace that is readable and doesn't result in me having to narrate the video, which I can (but don't want) to do.
- If you are able to critically think and analyze the script and discuss/suggest edits that actively improve the content.

If you succeed at the small videos and I'm actively happy and excited, I will give you the long script. For the long video, I will pay a minimum flat rate of [$120]. As above, if you make this comfortable/easy for me and improve the product beyond my own editing abilities, there will also be negotiable bonuses.

I'll be doing the thumbnails myself, so you don't need to worry about that (but you can provide your feedback if you like).

Thank you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Bonus points if you submit a specific video you've edited that you believe will gel well stylistically, or even a video that isn't yours you're thinking of emulating.

In Summary: Trial Runs, Then Big Project.

Total Minimum Pay (Assuming Trials Succeed): (200$ FLAT)

YouTube golf video editor

We are starting a long form golf YouTube channel and are looking for someone to edit our videos who can finish 1 video a week (with a revision in between). The footage will include 2 different camera angles including split channel microphones which will need to be split and matched up in the edit. We want the videos to be edited as similar to channels such as BryanBros and Grant Horvat as possible, so we need someone who is confident with making shot tracers, adding graphics and has experience in golf content creation (preferably).
For anyone interested, feel free to send us a message with your portfolio.

Our budget is OPEN and we’re willing to discuss rates.

[Hiring] Looking for skilled short-form & long-form video editors (Remote)

Hey everyone,

I'm currently growing Clipra Media, a video editing agency, and we're looking to bring on a few more editors.

We're not looking for people who only know how to cut clips together. Most of our work is retention-focused, so we're after editors who understand pacing, storytelling, sound design, and know how to make videos engaging.

Most of the projects are YouTube videos, but we also work on Shorts, Reels, podcasts, talking-head videos, and similar content.

If you can confidently do things like:

- Keep the pacing interesting without overediting

- Use B-roll naturally

- Add clean motion graphics and subtitles

- Make audio sound polished

- Match a reference style

...we'd like to talk.

How we work is pretty simple. When a client comes in, we send the brief to our editor team. The client chooses the edit they like most, and that editor takes on the project. We don't force every editor to work on every client—we try to match projects with the people whose style fits best.

Payment is split 80/20 (80% to the editor, 20% to the agency).

If you're interested, send me:

- Your portfolio

- A couple of your best edits

- What software you edit in

- Your WhatsApp number (or another way to contact you)

We're trying to build a small team of people we can keep working with, not just hire someone for one project.

If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, send me a DM.

[Hiring] Video Editor for Kubrick Movie Analysis

I'm looking for an editor for a video analysis of Stanley Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut. This film has been speculated without end across the internet, and left viewers confounded for almost 30 years.

I possess information about this film that has never been released online or anywhere else to my knowledge. I want to tell the untold story of this film, so fans can finally understand the final vision of one of cinema's greatest artists.

I will write the script, compile clips from the film, select the music, and gather the other textual information. I figure there will be an intro, the analysis, and an outro. The goal is to keep it under 2 hours, because I realize the importance of brevity, despite there being a lot to cover since it's such a perplexing film. A teaser trailer will also need to be created.

Ultimately, the production quality of the video goes a long way in terms of delivering the message which is why I need help with that part so the $$ can be negotiated. Additionally, a narrator will eventually need to be hired to dictate the script. The completion date would be late October.

If you are a fan of Kubrick's films or have a experience with movie analysis videos, perhaps this is something that would interest you. You will have the opportunity to not only uncover the mysteries of one of the most enigmatic films ever made but help share it with others.

my first edit in this style

I was trying to learn this edit style for minecraft youtubers, I don't have any notion about how many I must rate for this job.
This is just a "raw" video I found on the Mongo YouTube channel, which I decided to use to practice this edit style.

[HIRING] Looking for a Long-Term GTA RP / NoPixel Video Editor (Storytelling & Cinematic Editing)

Hey everyone,

My name is Darrell, and I'm looking for a talented editor who's interested in something much bigger than a one-off project.

For the past couple of years, I've been deeply involved in GTA RP, primarily on NoPixel. As many of you know, NoPixel has become one of the most influential roleplay communities out there and has even collaborated with Rockstar as GTA RP continues to evolve.

Recently, I went through my archive and realized I have 461+ full VODs dating back to early 2024. That's hundreds of hours of roleplay, character development, funny moments, intense situations, gang stories, business stories, and cinematic moments that have never been transformed into proper YouTube content.

My vision isn't to upload random gameplay highlights.

I want to create a cinematic, story-driven series where viewers become invested in the characters, relationships, and ongoing narratives. Think less "stream highlights" and more "episodic storytelling" that people want to binge.

This is a massive long-term project, and I'm looking for someone who wants to help build something over time.

What I'm Looking For

  • Strong storytelling and pacing.
  • High-quality cinematic editing.
  • Motion graphics and subtitles are a huge plus.
  • Someone who understands GTA RP or is willing to learn it.
  • Someone who wants to collaborate creatively instead of simply following instructions.

The Project

Alongside the VOD archive, I've also been putting together custom artwork, character branding, promotional graphics, and a detailed RP résumé documenting my characters, storylines, accomplishments, and overall journey. These materials will help provide context and keep the editing style consistent across the entire project.

I'm treating this like building a real brand, not just posting gaming videos.

Budget

I work a full-time job, so I'm definitely budget-conscious. Because of the size of this project, I'm open to structuring payments in milestones or batches instead of expecting someone to edit hundreds of videos upfront.

If we work well together, I'd love to build a long-term partnership with consistent work as the channel grows.

A Little More About Me

I've spent years investing time into roleplay, building stories, and creating content that deserves a second life. I've also roleplayed with people who are well connected within the NoPixel community, so I genuinely believe there's room to build something special if it's presented the right way.

If you're an editor who enjoys storytelling, cinematic gaming content, and helping build long-term projects, I'd love to see your portfolio and talk more.

Feel free to comment below or send me a DM with your previous work, rates, and anything else you'd like to share.

Thanks for reading—I look forward to connecting with you!
