I run a channel focused on deep-dives exploring lore, history, and development of classic sci-fi, fantasy, comic books, and tabletop role-playing games

I'm hoping to find a part time editor for project to project

The Style & Workflow

• The Vibe: Paced, narrative-driven video essays with illustrations, comic panels, book art, and gameplay media. Similar editing style to PancreasNoWork pretty simple ovrerall but some flairs of personality if that makes sense
• Media: I supply the source imagery, voiceover, and reference media. But you'll probably need to source some things yourself (maybe 10-15% from pexels / wikicommons etc.)
• Length: Usually around 5 to 10 minutes per video.
• Turnaround: Typically 3 to 5 days.

Compensation

• Rate: $4 to $7 per finished minute, depending on the complexity and style match since the editing style is pretty simple and I'm supplying imagery

How to Apply

If this sounds like your cup of tea, drop a comment or send me a DM with:

1. A link to your portfolio or past editing work that's similar(long-form documentary or essay style preferred). Please don't give me a G drive portfolio with 50 random videos
2. Big bonus if you're into fantasy / sci-fi / comics / tttrpgs
3. Please put "Drow&Dragons" at the top of the message so I don't get flooded by spam (sorry to be that guy)
4. Your rate

($20 HOURLY)

I'm working on a project delving deep into Cyberpunk (everything in it, TTRPG, comics, game, etc.) and I'd love to connect with someone who is knowledgeable about all things within it, read everything, knows the lore, informed about news, etc. Basically I'm looking for someone to bounce ideas off of, answer some questions, and fact check some sections of the project I'm working on.

*Posting my 20+ questions and fact checking paragraphs of info would get bulky in things like discord groups or reddit so highly prefer just talking to one person, happy to credit you, your website, or your socials in the final project as well as pay a bit depending on the help.

Thank you Reddit/chooms!

Does anyone know the actual in-universe order for the Vampire Hunter D novels? (and even the full Japanese run, if anyone knows).

Are we talking hundreds of years, or thousands? Has anyone ever put together a comprehensive chronological breakdown of the timeline?

If somene has a link / japanese site or even better if Kikuchi has ever said anything about it that would be great.
