Tau Kor'vattra - The Merchant fleet is expanding
A Hero and two Merchants. The Lambda prow on the Hero is really funky as you can move the wing bits up and down. (See 1ste and 2nd image). Made by Battlefleet Galaxy.

Hi is there any videos that shows you the ship them selves like a showcase like what the do to show all the vehicles in Lego games of all the sides?
After being mothballed for more than two decades, the fleet has been reactivated.
All hail the God-Emperor, protecting humanity from eternal night and the horrors of the galaxy!
The underside batteries plus the two flak towers at the back imply it's a Ret (that's what my friend says he's going to run it as) three dorsal lances are I guess that one massive gun, haha.
The 'spine' of the ship is Battlefleet Galaxy, the underside 'keel' is a BFGalaxy pagoda bridge. Underside batteries are all Vanguard, top side bits are all OG imperial or grand cruiser, the prow is Vanguard (the old resin addict Spear prow).
Decals are admech and sororitas AFAICR.
I'm working on a project delving deep into the BFG series(everything in it, games, development, books, etc.) and I'd love to connect with someone who is knowledgeable about all things within it, read everything, knows the lore, informed about news, etc. Basically I'm looking for someone to bounce ideas off of, answer some questions, and fact check some sections of the project I'm working on.
*Posting my 20+ questions and fact checking paragraphs of info would get bulky in things like discord groups or reddit so highly prefer just talking to one person, happy to credit you, your website, or your socials in the final project.
Thank you Reddit!
I’m finishing up this Blackstone Fortress and just applied the red glazes. What do you think about the bright green in the inner? Does it work for you or would you change it to another color (like blue or orange)? Let me know your thoughts!
Hey guys; i never managed to play BFG when i was kid and i would have loved to, so im now looking for various ways in; i have heard that there is a BFG discord? if so could i have a link to it? in adition im hunting through the rules for something specific: i am 100% certain i saw a regular (non craftworld) eldar ship that was able to use a nova-cannon template weapon, but i cant find it anywhere.
Edit: This has been answered! the answers are below. thank you guys!
My imperial fleet has come out of storage after a couple of decades in the warp. As you can see it's going to need a lot of TLC, wish me luck.
First, thank you if you clicked in order to comment about Armada, but I don't mean that. I mean a translation of the rules to computerized play, not a translation of the game concept to a computer game, if that makes sense. (Think MegaMek vs. MechWarrior.)
Has anyone produced an implementation (preferably OSS) of any recent BFG ruleset? If so, can you hook me up - and if not, do you know why not?
Found some absolute gems on cults - designed for resin but fdm worked pretty well, just had to think carefully about how to position it on the build plate.
New video is out showcasing my 2nd oldest fleet ,
- my Ork Freeboota Pirate Fleet.
You can watch the video here and I wanted to do this video before my Ork tactics video next week.
Hope you like the fleet.
I’m thinking of building my own Daemon ship, and I’d like to use an Imperial vessel as a base (‘cause as I see it, they’re only one gellar field failure from being blessed). I know there’s nothing to stop me as using one as a base, as long as the profile is based on a Chaos ship.
So apart from some Grand Cruisers, are there any Imperial ships that have a matching weapons profile to à chaos vessel?
Does anyone know if these files are still available / if anyone has them kicking around? A few years ago I had a bunch of them to print off a fleet using a resin printer, however had to get rid of it due to the fumes.
I've just got my hands on a Bambulab A1, and am hoping to try printing off some ships but can't seem to find the files? I've got a new PC since then and I guess forgot to back up all my 3d printing stuff. If anyone could point me in the direction of those files, that'd be hugely appreciated. I've seen on the purple site some full body cruisers/frigates, however I liked the modular options of his files. I would assume being able to print in segments would be better anyway?
Also, if anyone has any advice for printing these kinds of things on an FDM printer, that'd be super appreciated!
Segmentum Solar – Battlefleet Minerva – Third Armageddon War Taskforce
Third War for Armageddon – 998.M41
CO: Admiral Josef von Osterkamp
Flagship: Gloria Minervae, Emperor-Class Battleship, SS-BFM-EB 4311
The House of Osterkamp is a noble family of respectable and lengthy standing within the Segmentum Solar, tracing its roots to the hive world of Armageddon and its offshoot colony of Minerva. While not counted among the planetary governance elite, the Osterkamps maintain entrenched prestige within the military, navy, and industrial infrastructure of both worlds, on Armageddon they reside in Hive Death Mire.
A veteran of the Armageddon PDF's air-force, Josef von Osterkamp was a flight leader in the when the Orks first came during the Second War for Armageddon, being one of a handful of survivors of his wing and changed greatly from the experience, he would determine to prepare for any further eventualities and be ready for the next Ork blow, which he felt certain would come. Utilising familial connections of the Minervan branch he would join the Imperial Navy and begin his voidborn career, establishing himself as a competent naval commander, his rise assisted by his patron and cousin Lucan von Osterkamp
When the Orks returned to Armageddon, the Minervans were quick to dispatch a relief force to join the massive Imperial effort, the Third Armageddon War Taskforce commanded by now Admiral von Osterkamp would be the first response to the call, whilst High Admiral Lucan von Osterkamp mustered the rest of the Minervan Battlefleet to follow as soon as they were able, returning to Armageddon from the void and ready to descend upon the Ork invasion Josef determined to apply the lessons from that first war, and now experience in combating them through his rise to command, so that the Orks may never recover from their attempt to take Armageddon again.
We wanted a space station in between the standard 150pt station and the Ramillies. Luckily the defences section of the rulebook suggests using the Imperial Blackstone Fortress as the basic stats for a large station. We just needed a model that fit into our sector's style.
The fun part was that the station has all round fire arcs, and no "front" or quadrants, so I could use a hexagonal symmetry without any concern for the compass template. I rather enjoy making stations.
It's on my cults3D page, if anyone is looking.
I'm making a Tau city station next, and am pondering a Nova-cannon armed station in the future.
Hi, I'm about to start printing a 300% upscaled Nurgle Possessed Fleet. My question is what do you recommend for stable bases and flight stand rods. Are there STLs, or is there a material that I can make it out of? Thank you again for your advice.
New lineup of small cargo haulers/caravels, with beefy escort, dispatched into the void. Cheers admirals

Just a quick question for my novel / Chapter lore
What would you expect a new chapter fleet to be.
I have a chapter that is a completely new.
Founded specifically to guard a new possible ( but unlikely) route through the rift.
They received a system to guard and somewhat govern so they have a new home world and we're half from the indomitus marines and half a new shipment from Cawl.
All dark angels geneseed.
I want to build a fleet for them but realistic in scale and types of ship. There also will be a fleet from battlefleet ghotic ( maybe other not sure) but they won't be under the control of the chapter directly.
There is a derelict of a battleship of some old design orbiting the home world so they most likely will reclaim that one but it's yet unscanned ( separate novel will be about that ship later ) also some advice what type of derelict would you recommend is highly welcomed.
There is a old and abandoned fortress monastery of some kind but absurdly huge. ( Main story is happening here)
All advices are welcomed.
