I'm making these pants for my mom and cannot for the life of me figure out what to do with that weird crotch situation. There's like... An extra 1.5" of fabric right in front of her crotch that just looks like it's folded together in the front. Side seams are straight as is. Any ideas? 3rd picture is a finished pair I made, same pattern just a few sizes smaller.
