I can't believe I got my first natural reader. No r4r, no bots or scams, just someone who genuinely found and read my fiction.

It's possible. It may take time, proper tags, and of course marketing to push it, but one day you'll reach that one reader and you'll be happy you did.

Will the new genre system be an improvement to the old one?

I already converted my stories into the new genres and sub genres and I wonder how it would change Wattpad. Will it improve engagement? Because sometimes I wonder if Wattpad is just a ghost town that I joined too late (or maybe I should bite the bullet and write a romance).

Wrote an experimental short story

It's a bit of a vent piece over my frustrations with writing and the realization that, man, this is harder than I thought.

Blurb:

Given the chance to be born again, a soul wishes for a life greater than the human one it has felt before. Yet, the lives it is granted come with a price it was hoping to avoid: disappointment.

What to expect:

A novelette with a meta-narrative plot that explores the frustration an author feels from incomplete drafts and the disappointment a reader feels from incomplete stories. Each life is a draft given a new purpose in this tale of reincarnation.

Hey! Decided to try my hand at telling a horror story through poems. Each part contains a brief description of a case and then a poem that explains what happened from the POV of a character involved.

Expect a new poem each day until complete. First three poems/parts are out now!

Blurb:

A small southern U.S. town known for its urban legends and ghost stories. To outsiders, those are just tall tales, but for the residents of this mysterious town, it's reality.

A mysterious virus has swept the town, corrupting its citizens and leading to horrific murder and assault cases. No cure has been found.

Warning: Forensic/clinical descriptions of death and injuries.
