Why Doesn’t Sunnyvale Enforce Neighborhood Parking Rules Such as No Parking on Left Side of Street?
More and more, I am seeing cars parked on the left side of the street—day and night! I am not referring to deliveries that last only 30 seconds. I am referring to people who think it is okay to make up their own rules or just don’t give a damn about rules.
At one house on my street,( not naming; don’t want to doxx) there is someone who parks a Tesla on the left side, and charges the car with the cord stretching across the sidewalk- -overnight!
If that was the only one, I might chalk it up to general assholery, but it’s everywhere you go in Sunnyvale. Is this even legal? It is an accident waiting to happen.
And before any of you remind me, I am aware that we have other, larger issues. As a tax-paying citizen of over 30 years I am just exercising my right to call out this kind of behavior before it becomes normal.
