Did anyone ever win a similar case?

I genuinely thought the item was authentic until more than 90 days after receiving it. I posted it online recently, and someone contacted me saying the seller had actually tried to sell the exact same item to them before I bought it. They realized it was fake and didn’t go through with the purchase, but apparently the seller later sold it to me instead.

I had absolutely no idea it was counterfeit before this happened. The item is very unique and vintage, and only people with deep knowledge of the brand would notice the flaws. Once I found out, I immediately contacted the seller, but he refused to refund me.

The good thing is that the person who contacted me still has their old messages with the seller, including detailed photos and authentication discussions, and everything matches the item I currently have. I also never altered or damaged the item in any way.

I first submitted a NAD claim through PayPal, but it was instantly closed because it was past the 30-day period. After that, I changed the case type to “I don’t want the item anymore” so I could at least upload all the evidence.

Has anyone dealt with something similar before? What ended up happening in your case?
