Private Chefs Offering Postpartum & Family Meal Support in Westchester

Hi everyone!

My wife and I are chefs and have recently been cooking for a handful of families in Westchester, mostly new parents and busy households needing extra support during the week.

We’ve found there’s a real gap between takeout and having nourishing meals ready to go at home, especially during postpartum recovery or hectic work weeks, so we started offering customized weekly meal prep and drop-off meals.

Everything is tailored to dietary needs and preferences, and we focus on meals that hold and reheat well throughout the week.

Happy to answer questions, share sample menus, or point people toward helpful postpartum food resources even if you’re just curious about the process.

Weekly Meal Prep & Drop-Off Meals for Busy Families + Postpartum Support

Hi everyone!

My wife and I are chefs based in Astoria and recently started offering weekly meal prep and drop-off meals for postpartum families, busy parents, and households that could use a little support during the week.

We have two young kids ourselves, so we know how quickly cooking can become one more thing on an already very full plate, especially during the newborn stage, busy work weeks, daycare pickups, or just periods where life feels a little nonstop.

Meals are fully customized around dietary needs, preferences, and what realistically works for your household. We focus on food that feels nourishing, balanced, and easy to reheat without feeling heavy or repetitive.

A few examples of meals we’ve been making lately:

• Rotisserie-style chicken with spring vegetables and lemon-thyme jus
• Salmon with lentils, herbs, and roasted vegetables
• Turkey meatballs with whole grain pasta and pomodoro
• Grain bowls with seasonal vegetables, soft eggs, herbs, and vinaigrettes
• Soups, broths, braises, and postpartum-friendly meals/snacks

We also have experience accommodating:
• low sodium meals
• dairy-free/gluten-free needs
• higher protein or macro-conscious meals
• kid-friendly dinners
• postpartum recovery support

Most clients are looking for 3–5 meals per week with delivery included.

Happy to answer questions or chat through what might make sense for your household. Feel free to DM me!

Hi everyone!

My wife and I are chefs based in Astoria, and we’ve recently started working with a handful of families in Park Slope on weekly meal prep and drop-off meals, especially during postpartum and other busy stretches.
We have two young kids ourselves, so we know how quickly food can become one more thing on an already full plate — whether that’s the newborn phase, heading back to work, or just a packed week.

What we focus on is simple, nourishing food that actually works day to day:

Meals that reheat well and don’t dry out
Options that are easy to eat (even one-handed)
A mix of lighter, brothy dishes and more filling meals
Flexible components instead of everything being overly composed

Everything is customized based on dietary needs and preferences — whether that’s postpartum-focused meals, low sodium, kid-friendly dinners, or just finding a rhythm that works for your household.

We typically do a mix of things like roasted chicken, lentils and salmon, meatballs, grain bowls, soups, and other meals that hold up well through the week.

Happy to answer any questions here if it’s helpful — especially around postpartum meal planning, freezer meals, or what realistically gets eaten during those first few months.

Hi everyone!

My wife and I are chefs based in Astoria and recently started offering weekly meal prep and drop-off meals for postpartum families and busy parents.

We have two young kids ourselves, so we know how quickly meals can become one more thing on an already overwhelming list, especially during the newborn stage, returning to work, juggling daycare pickups, or just trying to get through a particularly busy stretch.

We are currently focusing on a few neighborhoods to start:

• Upper East Side

• Upper West Side

• Park Slope

• Williamsburg

The meals are customized based on dietary needs, preferences, and what is actually realistic for your household. We have worked with families looking for things like:

• Postpartum-friendly meals

• Dairy-free or gluten-free meals

• Low sodium meals

• Easy reheating with minimal cleanup

• Kid-friendly dinners

• Nourishing soups, braises, grain bowls, proteins, and snacks

A few examples of meals we often make:

• Rotisserie-style chicken with potatoes and green beans

• Braised short ribs with mushrooms and roasted vegetables

• Salmon with lentils and herb vinaigrette

• Turkey meatballs with polenta and broccolini

• Grain bowls, soups, stews, and freezer-friendly meals

We offer both drop-off meals and in-home cooking depending on what works best.

I am also happy to answer questions here if anyone is looking for ideas around postpartum meal planning, freezer meals, what actually reheats well with a newborn, or how much food families realistically need during those first few months.

Trying to keep this community-focused and helpful, so if anyone has questions, I am happy to chat.
