Our 7 month old goldendoodle has been putting less pressure on his back right leg when he walks or stands but has been running and playing like normal and doesn’t seem to be in any pain. Is this cause for concern or could it just be normal growing pains? When I lift up his left leg to force pressure on his “bad leg” he seems to have no issues with it.
Our 7 month old 35 lbs goldendoodle cannot figure out how to jump on the couch, bed, our car, and even a low chair (in picture). He is tall enough to where he can get him whole body until his back legs on the couch but won’t prop himself up or learn to jump. Seems like he is hesitant in general about elevated surfaces maybe from an incident before he came to us. Has anyone ever encountered this or has any tips or tricks? We have tried to tempt him with treats but he just props his whole body on the couch and leaves his back legs down and refuses to either crawl or jump up the rest of the way.
