My girl got her first cut and I think she looks so silly but I noticed her skin is reddish. She isn’t scratching or anything. Anyone else have this issue with your Goldendoodle?

My groodle Alfie is 7 months old and I’m struggling HARD with excitement reactivity 😭

He is the sweetest dog ever and not aggressive at all, but the second he sees another dog or person on walks his brain completely leaves his body lol. Jumping, lunging, whining, pulling toward them, completely ignores me.

The frustrating part is he’s good (ish) lol at home. His recall inside is great ,listens instantly, super engaged with me. But outside? It’s like I don’t exist.

If he’s off lead somewhere open he just wants to run to every person/dog and won’t come back until he’s decided he’s done saying hello. Parks are becoming stressful instead of enjoyable.

Has anyone dealt with this around this age? Did your puppy grow out of it or was there specific training that really helped? I feel like I’m failing him a bit and don’t know the best way to handle it without making walks miserable for both of us.

I am thinking of buying this F1 golden doodle tonight. She is 12 weeks old. To me her coat looks straight or is this normal for a 12 week old f1 golden doodle. When she gets older do you think her curls will get a little more tighter? If anyone has has a f1 that looked like this feel free to upload a pic when they are adult

*edit: for you that think the coat is the deciding factor I assure you it’s not. Simply a question.

My mini goldendoodle is 8 months old and she developed a rare disease called IMHA. Her symptoms started manifesting about seven days after her surgery. Took her to the same vet that did her surgery and they performed a blood test and said she had a low red blood cell count and a high white blood cell count. They sent her home with antibiotics and a regenerative anemia diagnosis. Took her to the ER the next day and she was hospitalized for three days after they diagnosed her with IMHA.

I am very skeptical about her surgery and not a big believer in coincidences. I don’t know if that was the trigger but what does everyone think? Should I switch my primary vet?

My dog recently got a horrible haircut and I was really growing out his hair and I’m upset that they decided to shave it off to make it easier. He didn’t have any matting and I paid for extra brushing just in case. His ears are uneven and his tail looks a mess. Any recommendations thank you!!

My boy passed away today. I want you to know he was the kindest, most loving boy, and that he taught me more about being human than any human did. Hug your babies for me, please.

She was pretty long fur now. It is around 3 inches or so. I don’t think shaving would be appropriate right now? It’s so cute don’t want her to be naked without all her fur gone.
