Poke Assists aren't really talked about much, they're just kinda there for the most part, despite being a pretty major part of the game. Well, it is a bit infamous how Steel and Electric are stupidly broken in SoA, which makes it a bit hard to justify using much else.

So, what changes would you make to the assist system if you could? How would you modify old ones to justify their usage? What kinds of new abilities would you add? Or would you just replace it with an entirely new system?
