Not a step parent yet, but it looks like it's heading that way. Looking for some help. Learning as I go here. SO has a 6 yr old son, gets him on the weekends. I've been in his life for a few months. Healthy co-parenting dynamic with mumma. He's a good little boy for the most part, but he's become extraordinarily attached and clingy with me. He always wants to be with me, near me, holding my hand, holding him. Wants my undivided attention. Doing anything that isn't focused on him, or talking to someone who's not him is not okay, tried to come to the bathroom with me. Repeatedly interrupts conversations. If his dad comes out of the bedroom before I do, he wants to know when I'll be there. He's not like this with other adults, and I don't really know what to do, again- he has only known me for a few months. Is this normal?
