Expectations for TFMR at 13ish weeks - out of state travel required.

Hi everyone.

I will be TFMR (T21) this week. I’m heartbroken, but I’ve accepted our awful reality.

My question is more about what I can expect from this procedure. I will have to travel out of state thanks to our state’s lovely laws (about 5 hours away). I will be 13 weeks exactly based on LMP but my baby has been measuring anywhere from 3-5 days ahead this pregnancy.

We will be leaving the day before since I have to be at the clinic early in the morning. We don’t have childcare so we will have to bring our almost 12 month old with us. My husband can’t come in past the clinic’s lobby anyway so he’ll basically just be dropping me off then heading back to the hotel with our baby all while I go through a procedure that I never imagined having to do.

We reserved a room 2 nights but are planning on driving back home that same evening - is this realistic? I truly have no clue what to expect. I’d really appreciate if y’all are willing to share some firsthand experience/advice. Thank you!

DPO unknown - CD 29 - line too dark??

Hi! Just looking for some of y'alls experiences. Idk when I ovulated b/c I wasn't tracking. According to my app, which has always been very accurate, I would've ovulated on July 25. The only time we had sex around that time was July 21. I took the test in this pic about 2 days (August 10) after a missed period (my cycles have been about 26-29 days since giving birth to my first baby who is now 9 months old).

I guess my question is - is this line too dark?? I would've only been 4 weeks when I took this test. When I got pregnant with my first baby, I tested exactly at 4 weeks and it was a veryyyy faint line (pic #2). I know every pregnancy is different, but just wondering if a line this dark is "normal". Thank you!

DPO unknown. CD29.

I know where babies come from but I am SO surprised. My baby is 9 months. We def weren’t trying. I was tracking my cycle but clearly I miscalculated somewhere lol.

I’m scared and nervous. Also sad that my baby won’t be getting all of my attention like I wanted him to. I’m also happy bc I’m 38 and we did want to have another baby. Just didn’t expect it to happen now.

I took the first response test first and the positive line popped up first. I was in such denial that I was telling myself it was the control line but I knew it wasn’t lol. I know this is a good thing, but I’m def freaking out.
