I just got the iPhone 14 pro as a stop gap from back market untill iphone 18 launches. My last phone broke during work beyond repair and I really needed a replacement. One of my friends recommended me backmarket and he told me the signs to look out for to spot a bad seller. In my case the seller seemed alright, he had many positive reviews with a good rating.
Unfortunately, when I got the phone I immediately noticed it had a tiny dead pixel. I honestly don't mind a few scratches as I got it in a fair condition with a new battery for £350 quid. But the fact that a dead pixel is a defect and shouldn't be sold as high quality refurbished product as promised by back market quality assurance baffles me.
I believe I need a few opinions on what should I do next. I have already informed backmarket and received free return postage and everything but their refund history is pretty sketchy.
